What it is
Carnelian, jade and agate engraved in mirror or direct script with prayers, the Seal of Solomon or divine names. The Prophet’s preferred carnelian (aqiq) was especially blessed.
Making yours
1–5 cm. Carve cabochons or plaques in agate, carnelian or nephrite. Fine for rotary-tool practice on soft stone first.
